Hub Word Counts--A Convenient Way to Plan Your Number of Product Capsules, Using Convenient Stats
72Where do your find word counts for each of your hubs?
With the new HubPages styling guidelines, Hubbers may be left wondering how many product capsules to include with each Hub.
A product capsule is allowed for every set of 50 words. This is all well and good, but how do you determine your Hub world count so that you can determine the allowable number of product capsules to insert in your Hub?
No one wants to have to count the words in their Hubs before including product capsules. Thankfully, HubPages includes the handy Stats feature, which you can use to see, at-a-glance, the word count for each of your Hubs.
Once you know your Hub word count, you can calculate the number of product capsules to add.

Determining Hub Word Counts
- Go to any of your Hubs and click on it to bring it up
- Look towards to top to the second button entitled Stats
- Select that and go to Hub Metrics
- You will see the word count for that particular Hub
This is the easiest method to determine how many words you've used in each of your Hubs.
* Choose a Hub that has been published for some time, as newer Hubs may not show statistical data.

Thank you for the nice comment and the vote. Hub stats/hub metrics are useful tools, not only to determine word counts but revenue potential and highest searched keywords per hub.
