In a world where "pretty" often spells success, Kang has had the courage to be herself and with no frills attached has concentrate on her singing. The see her perform, one forgets about external trappings or fancy light shows. None of it is needed with that much talent on stage. She joins the ranks of other performers who stayed true to the music and did not rely on props to support their vocals.
Whether singing Country, Jazz, or Torch, K.D. Lang has proven to be a versatile and brilliant artist.

I have never heard of K D Lang until the Olympics and she moved me so much! I can't stop listening to her music. She makes me want to cry when she sings.
KD Lang has long been one of my favorite singers. She has an incredible voice that gives me goosebumps. "Cryin'" is still my favorite.
