I change my hook sizes to get the desired gauge and this often requires a different sized hook from what the pattern calls for. This holds true if you want your work to look a certain way with a desired thickness or thinness.
Having a graduated set of hooks is essential to the serious crocheter--and, even better, is having a convenient case to store them in. But where can you actually find crochet hooks sets?

Ideas for Storing Your Crochet Hooks
