Butterscotch poppyseed loaves-- great served with tea or coffee

Butterscotch Pudding + Cake Mix = 4 Quick, Sweet Loaves

This recipe for butterscotch poppyseed loaves makes 4 loaves. These are easy to make and you will garner compliments on the different taste.

Butterscotch Poppyseed Loaves

2 yellow cake mixes

3 pkg. instant butterscotch pudding

2-3 tsp. sugar

8 eggs

3/4 cup oil

2 cups water

1/2 cup poppyseeds

Beat in order given for about 2 minutes with beaters. Scrape into 4 greased loaf pans and bake at 325 degrees about 45 minutes to an hour or until done. Test centers with a toothpick to check.

* Make sure to use instant pudding or the butterscotch poppyseed loaves will not turn out.

A butterscotch poppyseed loaf is just the thing to take to a potluck or for family gatherings. Best of all, you can freeze the remaining loaves so that you have something on hand when company comes over!

You just add the poppy seeds into the batter. Make sure you use instant pudding. This recipe won't work with regular pudding.

Just use loaf or bread pans.

This my first time baking with poppyseed. Is there anything that needs to be done with the poppyseeds prior to adding to recipe or do I just pour them from the bag into batter.
